Discover the heritage and passion behind Chapman House Bed & Breakfast
The home was built in 1802 by Geneva's early Presbyterian community for the area's first clergyman, the Rev. Jedediah Chapman and his wife. Chapman came from Orange, New Jersey where he was a Chaplain in the Revolution.
The current owners purchased the home in 1999 after it was vacant for two years. It has been patiently restored over these past 25 years. Proceeds from the guest rooms helped to finance this restoration allowing the landmark to be enjoyed by the public.
Chapman House is only 10 minutes from NYS Thruway exit 42, and is conveniently located less than an hour away from Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca and Watkins Glen, and only twenty minutes from Canandaigua Lake. Chapman House is within walking distance from the campuses of Hobart and William Smith colleges.

A meticulously restored 1800 Federal-style bed & breakfast in the heart of Geneva's Historic District. Your gateway to Finger Lakes wine country.
